What MovingMate tracks

MovingMate separates boxes and furniture. Each item gets a sequence number (#001, #002…), a destination room, and optional details you can fill while packing.

• Boxes: destination room, size preset (standard / books / wardrobe / custom dimensions), weight (light / normal / heavy), fragile flag, declared value, contents text.
• Furniture: name, destination room, dimensions, weight, fragile, declared value, contents/notes.
• Rooms are free text with autocomplete from rooms you already used (e.g. Kitchen, Master bedroom).
• Free tier: 25 boxes and 15 furniture items per move — enough for a small home move.

Before you pack (30 minutes)

• Create your move in the app (works fully offline).
• Walk each room and note large furniture you will add as furniture items.
• Decide room names you will reuse on labels (Kitchen, Bedroom, Garage…).
• If you plan QR labels, check your thermal roll size in the app (50×30 mm, 50×80 mm, or round 48 mm) — works with Niimbot, Phomemo, and Clas Ohlson BT M110.

While packing: record each box

Every time you seal a carton, add a box in MovingMate: pick the destination room, write a short contents line (“Plates + mugs”), set fragile or heavy if needed.

Hands full? Use offline voice dictation on the contents field — after you download the on-device AI models in the app. No internet required while you tape.

Condition photos on each item are available on Move Pass (paid), not on the free tier.

Room checklist (starting template)

• Kitchen: small appliances, dishes, pantry.
• Living room: electronics, cables, decor, books.
• Bedrooms: clothes, linens, personal items.
• Bathroom: toiletries (liquids sealed).
• Office: documents, chargers — mark one box as “open first” in the contents text.
• Garage / storage: tools, seasonal items.

Moving day: verify scans

Open Scan in the app and choose Verify inventory. Scan each QR label as the box goes on the truck. The app shows progress and a missing list for anything not scanned in that session.

You can also scan a single label with Open item to jump straight to that box or furniture record.

After loading, tap Save missing for claim if you use cloud sync — flags missing items for a claim dossier (Move Pass, with photos).
